Widely regarded as one of the most fragrant sweet peas available, ‘High Scent’ features beautifully delicate creamy-colored petals with subtle violet-blue picotee edges. This variety is known for its heavenly perfume, making it a standout choice for any garden.

Sowing Period:

• October to April: Sow 3 seeds per 7.5 cm (3”) pot at a depth of 1 cm (1/2”). Place in a propagator or seal in a plastic bag at a temperature of 20-25°C (68-77°F) until germination (10-21 days). After germination, grow in cooler conditions before transferring to a cold frame for overwintering.

• Spring: Sow directly outdoors in drills at a depth of 2.5 cm (1”) and a distance of 7.5 cm (3”) apart.

Growing Instructions:

• Pinch out the growing points of each stem once the second pair of leaves has opened to encourage bushier growth.

• Regularly feed and water sweet peas throughout the growing season.

• To promote more blooms and extend the flowering period throughout summer, cut flower stems frequently and deadhead faded blooms to prevent seed pods from developing.
